Looking for the perfect place to camp with your TentBox? At Catgill Farm, we’re proud to welcome TentBoxers to our scenic, spacious site in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales — just 10 minutes from Bolton Abbey.
While our usual policy is ‘no cars on the field,’ we make a special exception for vehicles with TentBoxes. Simply book a grass or electric pitch — no special booking needed!

Things to Know
- Check-in after 2pm and check out is by 10:30am.
- Arrive early from 11am and make the most of your stay from the moment you get here. Early check-in has limited availability.
- We are proud to be a dog-friendly campsite.
- Our camping pitches are suitable for tents, tent boxes, and caravans and campervans shorter than 7.5m, with two pitches for up to 8m.
- Please note, we do not allow commercial vans. Examples of commercial vans include delivery vans, service vans, or vans used by trades people like electricians or plumbers.
- We welcome TentBoxes at Howgill Lodge! While our policy is typically ‘no cars on the field,’ we make an exception for vehicles with TentBoxes. Simply book your grass or electric pitch as usual – no special booking required!
- We only have a very limited number of additional spaces for extra cars. Please let us know if you would like to bring an extra car before arriving on site so we can make sure we have capacity for this.
